Glossary

The Glossary feature is unique to the Structured Analysis Wiki: whereas a traditional, hardcover book might contain a glossary, Just Enough Structured Analysis did not.

What would go into that glossary, though? Well, certain terms have changed -- or fallen out of use -- over the years.

Does a "dataflow diagram" mean the same thing today that it did five, ten, or fifteen years ago? Or would a reader benefit from a brief explanation? There might be terms that aren't introduced anywhere in the original text of Just Enough Structured Analysis, but have gained significance in recent years; this is the place to review those terms.

The wiki admins have decided not to get this page started, save for a brief description of our intentions -- that work is left to you, to implement however you see fit. We'll be watching with great interest . . .
